Flint Community Schools

Northwestern High School

High School Stadium

Project Summary Points:

What was once a premier stadium and running track in the late 1960's and 1970's, this facility was in need of significant repairs to the track surface and field events.  With the help from generous private donations and the Flint Community Schools, a complete renovation of the track was made possible.

CHMP met with coaches and school representatives to plan and implement a totally new track facility that meets current Michigan High School Athletic Association guidelines.

A quality installation by Ace Asphalt and Goddard Coatings resulted in a premier polyurethane track.  The facility  now hosts track meets for all of the surrounding high schools as well as sanctioned Regional and State events.

CHMP provided surveying, design and construction administration services for the entire project.
